She hasn’t yet exhibited feats beyond Solomon or Jagganoth yet. I’m still yawning until I see something match or surpass Mr. Infinite Swords Fill Every Space with Blades.
If existence is a lie, then mass and scale are also illusions.
Useful ones, perhaps, but still illusions.
For a fully fledged demiurge, simply moving a stellar system would scarce hold any interest: may as well kick a rock or toss a ball.
Reworking the fundamental laws of physics, and getting everything rebalanced just so, now that sounds like a worthy challenge.
→ I suspect that that is what we are seeing Zoss iterate upon. Incremental changes, and then testing. The events of this whole comic are just one pass-through of his testing protocol.
In the tournament arc the trifecta was moving around at the speed of sound and going toe-to-toe with a planet destroying god
This may be the most powerful feat we’ve seen from Allison alone, but if she were to try and bring this amount of power against Jagganoth it would be like a fly beating against an armored knight.
So, there’s no way that doesn’t hit a whole ton of her own troops, as she’s whipping it around, right? I mean, they were in melee, so at a minimum anyone stuck in with Incy’s forces is going to get hit, but most of the ground level swing is also going to be behind her, and thus further into her own lines.
Just ten minutes of pushing the front line, a front full of nigh-superhuman berserkers? Friendly casualties will be a minimum, and the problem with a huge ground army consisting of shock troops, is that it’s still mostly infantry. Plus, a big army means a bigger target. Friends are fine. Unless they have ninjas….. then those might be in trouble.
As you start to rotate in a hammer throw, the hammer will naturally be raised off the ground as it swings in a full arc and the wire reaches full tension. What I’m saying is that it’s entirely possible it will be dragged across Incubus’s army and then lift up and swing over the heads of the Republics troops before being launched at the fleet.
While it’s fully possible that she’s going to lift it into the air before she drags it into her own army, like the other commenters said, I think that her NOT doing that would honestly be an interesting development. Allison is at a point where it’s questioned as to whether or not she’s slipping into the same habits of the Demiurges. Her ignoring collateral damage would play into that arc very well.
If your ships are no longer capable of destroying the enemy fleet, simply use enemy ships to destroy the enemy fleet. Almost elegant in its simplicity.
The world’s largest meteor hammer was never used, created for a statue several worlds away. AL-YISUN’s takes a close second, and saw what some would consider to be excessive use in comparison.
Drawing on her innate knowledge a Legend and linking it to her Past, Al-Yis-Un displays a formidable not-technically-a-sword-art variation of the infamous “spin attack!”
Allison’s pragmatic, yet wildly successful, tactical genius on full display. If your ground forces are losing, simply take the closest enemy flagship and throw it at the next closest enemy flagship until they enemy has no more flagships.
How much do you think this will cost, Guildmistress?
Hammer throw.
Royalty is a continuous tossing motion
Embracing the grind (-ing of your foes into a fine paste).
Royalty is a continuous salad tossing motion.
I think Yis and Un did more than toss salad, but who’s to say.
The sacred butt stuff.
Al-YISUN, bearer of the word ‘YEET’
What Alison knows: The bank doesn’t insure its workers against whiplash.
Good comic
Agreed
Agreed agreed
Disagreed. GREAT comic!
AgreedandthatsFINAL
… agreed?
Good Comic.
yeah
iimagine being so pissed off you shoulder throw a flying ship
Some times you need to hit a motherfucker with another motherfucker
power creep getting crazy

Oh she gonna and it’ll be sick as fuck ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°
Agreed. I won’t clap ’til I see the scary lady move the center of mass of a stellar system.

This one is wise. The star that Solomon’s own Rayuba orbited was once stolen by the demiurges before he replaced it with two more.
This is like bare minimum demiurge behaviour
She hasn’t even broken a sweat!

Oh this *RIPS*

This doesn’t seem like a great move.
Seems like the ship was above the core of Incubus’s army, further back from the front line. I wouldn’t be surprised if it hit no one but beserkers.
The drop, sure. But the circle slide? That definitely jelly’d everybody it was just dragged over.

I’d be shitting myself but itd be rad as hell.
You spared me from commenting to the same effect … wait … drat.
A little collateral damage never hurt nobody!
Nice.

You spin me right round, baby.
Oh great, thanks. I’m going to have that song in my head for the rest of the weekend, now!
Great. Now the term “Fleetspin” is stuck in my head. Thanks.
What, you haven’t seen Two Gogs, One Key?
Now there’s an image!
fuck ’em uuuuuuupppp!!
Spin to win
If your ships are no longer capable of destroying the enemy fleet, simply use enemy ships to destroy the enemy fleet. Almost elegant in its simplicity.
Almost.
Epic.
Now do it again with the other ships.
Holy shit she added a sweep to the yoink ‘n smash, she’s a genius
White Chain may not have taught her this one, but I’m sure she’s still proud.
When you grab a motherfucker to hit another motherfucker

I think you are linking this feat to the wrong memory.
The correct association is “So a-long, gay bowser!”
This one remembers now what the ropes of light reminded them of — the thread spun by the triplicate Mottom.
What is this, some kind of Silksong?
She will hit a motherfucker with another motherfucker. Ship style.
Sometimes I think about the Alison we met at the start of this comic, and the sheer weight of how much she’s grown. Hell yeah!
Crack that whip.
The Heir yoink-eth, and the Heir yeet-eth away
The chain lass… did not teach the chain move… to the lass? How curious, what could Abbaddon mean by this?
She seems to have learned well the question of Royalty; why not? Such as “why not use an enemy vessel as a throwing hammer, physics be damned?”
Allison’s pragmatic, yet wildly successful, tactical genius on full display. If your ground forces are losing, simply take the closest enemy flagship and throw it at the next closest enemy flagship until they enemy has no more flagships.

The High Priestess, #000001… her survival is guaranteed by The Conduit of Dark Science.
She shall help us all, or we are all doomed.
Was that a Dresden Codak reference?
